Fiction Friday: glamorie
You speak of 'spinning glamorie' or 'weaving glamorie' as though spinning and weaving are arts comparable to that of creating glamorie. You say this who have never done any threadwork in your life. Here: pass the shuttle between the warp threads and watch the thread grow too taut here, the weave too loose there. Here: give the spindle a twist and watch the infant yarn fall to pieces.
You say the effort of glamorie is comparable to that of threadwork. You, sir, lie. If glamorie were difficult as threadwork, you would compel me to do it, rather than forbidding me.
